SELECTED ACHIEVEMENTS

Evaluated, studied and implemented use of outside tooling resources. Maintaining in-house tool room was expensive to maintain in labor costs and equipment obsolescence. Impact: Proved to be a 50% cost reduction to outsource and was able to support current production and new projects.

Studied new proprietary materials and new manufacturing processes to incorporate into existing production plant. Worked with other plants to bring new product line to North American market. Impact: Increase company revenue by millions of dollars and achieved increased market share by adding new products and business units.

Maintained schedules and met required customer requirements. Possible loss of business in not meeting customer start-ups. Worked with in house and outside resources to maintain schedules. Impact: Never late for a customer requirement

Added a Poka-Yoke feature to components to allow sensors to discover incorrect assembly. Components were being assembled incorrectly and shipped to customer. Rejection from customer and possible failure in application. Thousands of dollars in sorting and possible loss of business. Impact: Eliminated problem.

Created and wrote with Auditing group; new quality standards for tooling group. As tier 1 supplier required to update quality requirements. Loss of customer business by not maintaining latest quality standards. Impact: Were able to fulfill requirements

Worked with team to prove that tooling would meet all customer requirements. Tier 1 automotive metal stamping supplier must provide quality documentation to support new product. Failure to provide acceptable document would not meet requirements. Impact: Always provided acceptable product to customer requirements

A company of 200+ employees provide metal and aluminum stampings as well as welded assemblies to tier one automotive customers such as: BMW, Ford and Nissan. With Press capacity up to 1000 tons we were able to produce various brackets, supports and others stampings.

Perform Engineering Liaison with tier one and two automotive customers. Prepare job estimates for new & current products

Maintain Tooling progress reports, review all PO's. Evaluate product specifications; improve metal stamping manufacturing methods utilizing knowledge of product design, fabrication processes, tooling & production capabilities, assembly methods and quality control standards.
