Present employment-
At home mom. I also took the 2006-07 school year and volunteered at my children’s school. I was officially hired on for the 2007-08 school year, but had to decline due to relocating my family to Virginia.

Nationwide Insurance, Des Moines, IA. – Quality Assurance Analyst
Duties included development and implementation of an Online Manual for Farm Processors to utilize for processing various requests for different states. Worked with Staff underwriting and learned the different processing guidelines for each state, and was responsible for documenting this to use on the online manual as our processing guidelines. I was also responsible for maintaining a multi line help desk with assistance from one other QA, to answer and document each call a processor made. Aided in finding the answer to their question, or researched and got back to them. Worked to cross train and mentor in my own expert matter, which was farm policies, and aided in training sessions and documentation of state rules and processing rules. Also, was in charge of checking work for 20 processors a month, establishing a minimum of 50 policies, or amendments checked for each processor. Worked with their supervisors providing documentation on spreadsheets of performance and quality, and if mentoring was necessary, it was also my duty to mentor those who were falling under the appropriate levels of quality and production.

Responsible for processing new lines of business, making amendments to existing policies, developing, testing and implementing new processing procedures for new regional additions, maintaining processing accuracy consistently between 97-98%, Advice List and Unprocessed Transactions checked 3 times/week to avoid problems for Agents and Customers, implementing Best Business Practices, assisted in training Customer Service department regarding proper update procedures for Farm Bureau policies.

Processed returned mail, responsible for documenting procedures and researching address corrections. Implemented new procedure changes resulting in reduced returned mail due to correct documentation and system updating.

URS Corporation, Des Moines, IA. – Project Assistant
Created Microsoft Access Database for Des Moines Public School system detailing individual building records regarding 3-year asbestos review information. Other duties included making corrections to outgoing correspondence, copying/filing/mailing incoming and outgoing invoices, and scanning/posting contract information to the Internet.

Received approved Home Equity Loans/Lines. Ordered title work, appraisal work, flood reports and any other documentation stipulated by corporate underwriting. Acted as liaison between Credit Center and bankers, reviewed title work and requested changes from vendors when necessary, reviewed any additional documentation and requested additional information from bankers when necessary, updated applications once requested items are received, locked rates and closed applications.

Complete administrative office duties including payroll management, mailing, editing monthly newsletter and creating weekly service bulletin. Organized all church activities by creating and maintaining master calendar schedule. First point of contact with public and potential new members.

Affiliated with the Principal Financial Group. Handled all mail opening, sorting and distribution. Handled money distribution, preparation and processing of deposits. First employed in Support Services providing base support for company procedures and personnel. Responsible for mailings, company confirms, faxes, corporate e-mail, overnight deliveries and multitasking of many other responsibilities. Final position existed in General Securities processing trade confirms, maintaining stocks and securities spreadsheets and maintaining client profiles using Power Imaging.
