Operations Manager-Beverage and Hospitality for a Red Lobster restaurant that generates over $5 million in annual revenue. Responsible for bar and lobby operations consisting of 10 bartenders and 25 hosts/hostesses.

•Review monthly P&L statements to track and report costs and evaluate cost numbers to develop plans to increase profits.

•Plan, budget and manage all purchasing, inventory planning and stock replenishment programs.

•Document inventory shrinkage (A vs. T) and develop cost control strategies to reduce waste and theft.

•Maximize sales and profits by teaching, coaching and upholding sales and service techniques.

•Responsible for all money handling operations such as nightly audits, daily deposit drops, armored car pick-up, and receiving weekly change fund.

2) Director of Security Operations

Director of Security Operations for a 1.27 million square foot Westfield Shopping Center consisting of 150 tenant stores, 5 major department stores, and parking lot. Tasked to provide a safe shopping environment and enforcement of mall policies and Washington State law.

•Supervise a staff of 25 employees and 5 supervisors. Hire staff, coordinate work schedules, organize workflow, train personnel, and serve as the Regional Manager’s representative for the state.

•Participate in the planning, development, administration and management of annual operating budget.

•During contract renewal with client, negotiated a yearly billable increase of $150,000 in services.

•Responsible for all accounting duties for department to include: ADP payroll, contract negotiations, purchases orders, AR/AP paperwork, and petty cash reports.

•Responsible for all human resources functions such as hiring, terminations, medical enrollment, workmen’s compensation paperwork, and company compliance with Washington State labor law.

•Ensure necessary work orders on center deficiencies are reported to the Engineering Department and continue to follow-up until the appropriate action is completed.

Responsible for the asset and inventory management of a logistical support organization consisting of 2000 personnel and $200 million worth of equipment.

•Evaluate personnel, equipment and material requirements for all incoming job orders.

•Responsible for ensuring the operational readiness of all equipment through subordinate status

reports, periodic inspections, and quarterly audits.

•Responsible for monitoring the life cycle of all assigned equipment and replacing at the end of its sustainment period.

•Participate in the development and implementation of new or modified guidelines, work processes, and operations in order to maintain and/or improve the effectiveness, efficiency, or timeliness of processes.

•As a junior officer, selected to perform the duties of a Support Operations Officer, a position normally reserved for senior officers with ten years of experience.

Transportation and Logistics Manager

Supervise administrative and maintenance operations, training, accountability of $5 million worth of equipment, written evaluations of supervisors, and the welfare of 40 soldiers for an Army transportation platoon.

•Supervise a staff of 37 transportation specialists and 3 supervisors involved in the support of inbound and outbound movement of personnel and government cargo by motor, rail, and military air.

•Responsible for ensuring the continuous operation of 20 motor transport vehicles, involving everything from scheduling drivers, dispatching vehicles, maintaining vehicle history for routine maintenance, submitting repair requests to company motor pool for deadline vehicles, and ordering vehicle parts.

•Personally selected by senior executive to develop and implement training programs for 5,000 Army personnel deploying on United Nation Peace Keeping Missions.

Assistant Human Resources Manager

•Maintain proper staffing levels on an ongoing basis; monitor and communicate needs to upper human resources management.
