Network Engineer/Systems Administrator

Responsible for all standard network administrative duties, managing implementation of a multi-tiered web-based application, and assignment of personnel to projects and priorities in a Windows Server 2003/2008 environment with Windows XP/Vista clients. Installed and maintain a Dell PowerConnect 6248 switched network with two Cisco ASA 5510’s in active/active mode, along with two Cisco 2800 routers for network segmentation. Installed a clustered Oracle environment with redundant Coyote E350SL load balancers and an EMC CX300 NAS backend. Implemented corporate antivirus/antimalware measures along with virtual and physical controls to maintain HIPAA/SOX compliance.

Worked extensively at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard to facilitate the development of a

multi-tier, web-based maintenance application. Planned and implemented a company

wide O/S upgrade from NT 4 to Windows 2000 on 100+ workstations and servers, and

constructed several high-end database servers in a Citrix farm configuration using SQL

database servers for both PSI and customers as well as assisting developers with software
