Independent Turbine Technician. Contracted with engineering companies to perform repairs to turbine stationary and rotating blading and associated components consistent with customer’s quality assurance requirements.

Field Project Manager. Worked with the customer to determine power plant requirements for repairs and presented recommendations for additional repairs as determined by a preliminary visual inspection. Supervised employees/contractors in the inspection and repair of steam turbine rotors, diaphragms, nozzles, blade rings and seals. Organized field jobs for on-site turbine team path and machine repair work. Coordinated with vendors and subcontractors to supply consumables and skilled labor. Maintained records of job costs/hours worked for job costing and payroll.

Turbine Technician. Performed diaphragm and blade ring repairs as needed. Removed and installed inserted/integral spill strips and seals on all types of turbine components.

Machinist. Assisted with set up and operation of boring bars, portable and fixed lathes, and milling machines in the shop and in the field for on site machining operations.

Rotor Blade/Bucket Technician. Assisted with rotor repairs. Removed and installed rotor buckets/blades, weld lashing lungs and repaired weld tendons. Set up and operated hydraulic cover punch, removed and replaced damaged covers, and prepped blades to install stellite erosion shields.

Turbine Technician. Inspected and repaired diaphragm/blade rings and nozzle segments on impulse/reactionary type steam turbines. Reverse engineered critical dimensions and steam path areas. appendage components to tolerances as close as .002 in.
