Duties: My responsibilities are to coordinate the extrusion department personnel to operate and maintain equipment to Standard operating conditions. Departments supervised are Extrusion, Winding, Recycle, and WIP Warehouse (8 personnel). I Documented detail events of the process in log books and input data into a computerized production log system for management review. During PM outages, I coordinated maintenance Preventative Maintenance tasks and oversaw operators’ scheduled tasks. I am capable of sizing up situations, analyzing facts and developing alternative courses of action in order to achieve a desired result. I ensure that before all changeovers that the correct resins are online and that required documentation of the process is completed. If conditions are operating out of range, I would evaluate and determine if maintenance is needed to investigate. Also fill in for vacationing Team Leader.

Position: Section Lead
Duties: To lead a production crew of 4 in the manufacturing, packaging, and material handling of product. My responsibilities were to coordinate extrusion, packaging, warehousing of product, and performing Quality testing of the process. Testing done on product every hour were color, gloss, impact, and detail visual inspection on fluorescent wall. Example of lab equipment used was spectrophotometer to measure color for consistency and gloss meter to measure the dullness of the Vinyl siding. The process was control using Distributive control system to set temperature, speed, and to control color blenders. This was a very sensitive process that required attention to detail and consistent monitoring of the process. I was selected to participate in the start up of a safety observation program that was use in developing and initiating Job safety awareness (JSA) of potential hazards.

I also performed incident investigations in a timely manner and documented findings that were crucial in developing solutions to conducting safety investigation.
