Personal Statement
For the past five years I have been playing for my local Rugby team as well as playing for my counties team. Playing Rugby has shown me the benefits of working as part of a team first and foremost. Working as part of this team has always ensured that the Rugby game comes to a productive finish – you can’t get anywhere in life without having a good back up of friends, work colleagues and family.
Throughout my time at college I have worked for several companies meaning that time keeping and flexibility was always a must. To ensure that I could fit college into my work schedule, I always ensured that I was available to my employee on a ‘needs must’ basis, meaning that I was called upon a regular basis as being one of the most flexible members of staff.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time on computers and creating websites for a variety of different things. This is a personal hobby that I have been perusing since the age of 13. Self-taught, I now design a range of websites for friends who own their businesses. All of the above required the finest attention to detail, mistakes cannot be made as amending a website takes time and this is something that my friends do not have when it comes to their company. This is something that I am passionate about and I am proud when I have finished what was expected to me in a timely manner.
Working with computers has allowed me to keep up to date with technology meaning that my communication skills have grown also. I am able to put my opinion across to other people while also respecting their own opinion and beliefs.
