This start-up company designs & builds commercial space rockets and a space capsule for NASA and various
other space agencies. Tooling Design Engineer in the tooling group, designing & coordinating
construction of production tooling and handling equipment manufacturing, testing and launching of the
company’s F 9 rocket and Falcon spacecraft.
-6/’03 to 10/08: Boeing Satellite Development Center (formally Boeing Space Systems), El Segundo, CA
This division of Boeing designs & builds commercial & military communications satellites and other types of
space vehicles. Sr. Design Engineer (Consultant), in the Ground Support Systems group, designing &
managing construction of production tooling and handling equipment used for satellite integration, and testing.
Also performed electronic packaging design for the RF and Digital Electronics Payload Systems groups under a
separate consulting contract.

the company from 2D to 3D parametric design procedures.

This division of Boeing designs & builds commercial & military communications satellites and other types of
space vehicles. Sr. Design Engineer (Consultant), then hired in as Staff Engineer in the Ground Support
Systems group, designing & managing construction of production tooling and handling equipment for satellite
integration. Transferred in ‘01 to RF electronic product design group, designing high precision RF receiver
packaging and test fixtures for high frequency micro miniature integrated circuits used in the commercial and
military communication satellites.

approximately 55 people performing product design and manufacturing support engineering.

several large manufacturing companies. Sr. Design Engineer. Responsible for the design and development of
mechanisms and the making of layouts and preliminary drawings of new products. Checked drawings and design
concepts for accuracy, producibility and cost. Supervised and co-ordinated creation of prototypes for marketing
presentations.
