Safety Experience
• Conducted OSHA compliance audits of industrial and chemical manufacturing facilities under the supervision of a CSP.
• Report generation of Health and Safety audits citing violations of 29 CFR 1910 regulations and recommending corrective action as directed by regulatory standards or best management practices.
• Conducted evaluation of 1910.1200 written HAZCOM program for local Terex manufacturing and distribution facility. Responsibilities included MSDS and chemical inventory, updating of MSDS catalog, and recommending necessary changes to HAZCOM program.
• Site safety oversight for Ensafe field projects. Responsibilities included air monitoring for any hazardous chemicals released from drilling operations, leading daily safety meetings, assessment of work area for any ongoing safety issues, and enforcing site safety and PPE requirements relating to Ensafe personnel.
Environmental Field Experience
• Performed groundwater sampling at numerous sites to detect the presence of VOC, TOC, and chemical and fuel product contamination.
• Performed well development, purging, and monitoring at various underground storage tank remediation sites and dry cleaning facilities.
• Conducted storm water and pH sampling for drain and runoff at local chemical manufacturing facilities.

Industrial Hygiene Experience
• Conducted numerous IH assessments at Fossil and hydroelectric power plants, industrial manufacturing plants, and oil refinery facilities. Responsibilities included personal and area air sampling, heat stress evaluations, ventilation hood assessments, noise dosimetry, IR meter assessments, and PPE inspection and evaluation.
• Conducted employee noise exposure surveys and area sound level mapping at various power plants, manufacturing, and distribution facilities.
• Performed negative exposure assessment air sampling during removal of hazardous materials to determine PPE requirements.
• Writing reports to document sampling and offer recommendations (engineering controls, PPE, etc.) under the supervision of a Certified Industrial Hygienist.
• Familiar with sampling protocol, procedures, and exposure limits for a wide variety of hazardous contaminants.
Indoor Air Quality
• Performed IAQ and visible mold inspections at multiple office and public facilities. Moisture meter readings, tape lift, swab, and air sampling, summa canister, and infrared cameras were used to determine the cause and presence of mold.
• Oversight as building owners representative on removal of mold containing building material. Responsibilities included documentation of removal operations, directing crew on components in need of removal, and communicating project details to the client.
• Writing reports detailing assessment protocol, findings, and recommendations.
Asbestos Experience
• Performed multiple asbestos surveys under NESHAP and AHERA regulations. Notable projects include a large mall for a private owner, General Electric manufacturing facility, multiple unit housing developments, and a 60,000 sq. ft. unoccupied warehouse facility.
• Main field asbestos building inspector for an on going environmental services contract with a local university campus. Responsibilities included on call sampling services, communicating to the client initial verbal confirmation of asbestos presence, writing reports on sample analysis findings, and acting as the building owners representative performing oversight of abatement activities.
• Asbestos air sampling of abatement activity at TVA plant locations in Kentucky and Alabama.
Other Environmental Field Experience

• Assisted in writing and reviewing reports for fellow co-workers with emergency project responsibilities or over booked schedules.

• Project Monitoring and oversight on asbestos abatements. Duties included air sampling, visual inspection, final clearance sampling, bi weekly progress meetings with clients, and enforcement of all applicable EPA and OSHA regulations pertaining to the abatement crew.
• Performed multiple asbestos building surveys.
• Conducted numerous lead based paint risk assessments in multi unit apartment complexes and single family residences. Clients ranged from city government to private realty companies.
• Performed lead based paint inspections on HUD owned residential properties.

• Performed over 250 residential lead based paint inspections under HUD protocol in Tennessee and Mississippi.
• Performed multiple lead based paint risk assessments for private party i.e. Home owners, businesses, potential daycares, etc…. and government clients.
• Coordinated and monitored several lead abatement projects performing final clearance sampling and visual inspection.
• Consulted with many high profile clients regarding visible mold and indoor air quality.
• Performed mold inspections using equipment such as particle counters, air-o-cell sampling pumps and cartridges, moisture meters, and tape and swap sampling tools. It was also my responsibility to translate all field data into reports for the purpose of providing clients with multiple options to fit their needs both regulatory and financial.
• Coordinated and monitored numerous mold remediation projects performing final clearance sampling and visual inspection.
• Conducted several asbestos inspections for various private clients and government agencies (most notably, a 14 story office building and a multi unit housing project for the health department) translating sample results into reports and assisting in final closeout documentation.
• Performed an abundant amount of asbestos air sampling during abatement projects and clearance sampling afterwards as both a project monitor (pre TN PM regulations) and consultant. When mandated by the scope of responsibilities included oversight of abatement activities as the building owner’s representative. Experience in this area includes schools, hospitals, office buildings, and outdoor environments such as rail yards.
• Analyzed asbestos air samples under the NIOSH 582 method as a certified microscopist.
• Conducted environmental testing of pumps and storage tanks for various fuel service stations to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and prevent contamination from spills.
