Wako Electronics (USA) Inc., a subsidiary of Wako Electronics (Japan).

Sole responsibility for quotations and cost changes, new suppliers, and department procedures for $11M

company's global procurement (U.S., Japan, Taiwan, China, Germany, Mexico, Canada). Direct

supervision of support staff. Initiated expanded capacity for mature raw material, achieving almost

$50k in annual savings while reducing supply risks. Negotiated for an overseas supplier to reduce

prices more than $32k annually while gaining a 60% reduction of supplier's leadtime for raw material.

Successful first year included completing a 54% increase in quotation activity over levels which had

existed before having joined the company.

Ability to leverage technical knowledge during search for capital equipment design services.

Engineering project leader for appliance & automotive industries. Responsible for quality management

compliance (ISO-9001, TS-16949), designing, prototyping, material safety and agency certifications.

Led team of engineers in record-breaking launch of 65 new engineering parts in four months.

Self-initiated an extremely well-received launch of a new, high-quality tooling supplier while also saving

Designed & constructed complete robotic testing devices to evaluate accelerated life cycles of equipment
