Key Accomplishments:
• Conducted strategic evaluation of council financial data resulting in the purchase of our 7,000 square foot program center and corporate offices to cut fixed costs and add program space.
• Developed a donor database and donor records management system resulting in increased community support from $27,000 to $91,000
• Actively shared the vision of creating a foundation resulting in $508,000 in principle to date.
• Successfully created a sole purpose nonprofit 501-c-3 foundation to support the Girl Scouts in the 14 northwest counties indefinitely. Serving as a consultant, development director and strategic planner for the foundation board resulting in continued growth of the principle fund.
• Developed volunteer training program to focus on diversity and needs of girls resulting in improved retention of volunteers and girls.
• Achieved operational improvements through reorganizing staff structures to support the strategic plan, introducing accounting software, utilizing intranet communications and implementing ongoing upgrades of Small Business Server network, computers and software.
• Cultivated relationships with Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians Business Council and Three Affiliated Tribes Business Council resulting in program support of $25,000, office space and funding.
• Responsible leadership resulted in 100% unqualified financial audits and 100% unqualified Girl Scout charter reviews. (Membership, program, governance and management standards)
