Owner and President
Responsible for the insurance brokering/consulting/and profitability management of automotive F&I products including: Extended Vehicle Service Contracts, Credit Life and Disability insurance, GAP, Ancillary Products, and Captive Reinsurance programs; The brokering role consists of recruiting new producers and carefully match them up with TPA’s having products and services to fit their needs based on their market and pricing, and then constantly manage the relationships and implementing changes when necessary. This includes day to day problem solving, involvement in all captive reinsurance activities, monitor loss ratios looking for trends, and assist/train producers. The consulting portion of Abraxas deals with assisting TPA’s and insurers on how best to market their programs/products, gaining access into new markets, product pricing, and designing competitive reinsurance opportunities.

Business Unit President
Held various financial positions including Senior Accountant, Director of Finance, Comptroller, and Chief Financial Officer which included the oversight of general ledger accounting, cash flow reports, monthly financials on a statutory and GAAP basis, reconciliation of GL accounts, and strategic planning. Promoted to Business Unit President in 1990, which position I held until my resignation in 1998. Responsible for all activities of this business unit in North America including Sales, Marketing, Claims, Accounting, Administration, Reinsurance, Forecasting and Budgeting. Under my direction the business unit went from a negative 6.5% ROI to a 12% ROI over a two year time period by restructuring most existing programs, cost containment, and new sales. I was responsible for the successful introduction of our products into the Canadian market and signing our largest producer, Toyota Financial Services.
