Produced drawings in accordance with SOP’s for stamping shop production and frame assembly.

Investigated and created designs for value engineering solutions and cost savings.

Supported electronic data exchanges and configuration controls with customers and suppliers.

Issue design changes to manufacturing, internal customers and external suppliers.

Worked as a CAD designer using CADAM in various engineering departments in support of submarine and aircraft carrier design, overhaul and construction.

Ensure CDM design changes and configuration/data met Navy requirements and interfacing partner suppliers in accordance with DOD standards, guidelines and approvals.

Employed as lead designer cognizant of seawater cooling piping systems. Created 2D concept designs of piping systems diagrams onto development of the 3D detail design and construction of the Seawolf Class Submarines.

Cognizant designer of CVN68 Class (carrier) Nuclear Reactor Plant piping system diagrams in accordance with NRC, Naval nuclear and government regulations. .

Thoroughly knowledgeable of military, nuclear, industrial and commercial specifications and standards.

Submitted drawings and specifications directly to government agencies for review and approval.

The Seawolf submarine was designed on the cutting edge and described "At 25 knots, our boat is quieter than the last [Los Angeles] class submarines sitting at the pier," says Lt. Cmdr. Bob Aronson.

Reverse engineered piping systems into 3D modular construction cost saving packages from 2D drawings for Trident and Los Angeles submarines.

Created and submitted CM baseline designs and drawings to the Navy for review and approval.

It was determined that assembly, which requires one hour in the pipe shop, takes four hours in the unit and ten hours in a sealed hull. Thus, pipe packaging for modular construction saves labor and span time and improves safety and quality

Assigned to V. C. Summer nuclear station as construction liaison performing system verifications, test evaluations and field modification inspections through full plant operations.

In 2004, SCE&G celebrated 20 years of operations at the VC Summer Nuclear Station, along with the approval of license extension through the year 2042.
