Professional Skills

PIPING:

• Planning and day wise progress monitoring of work as per schedule.

• Updating the progress report of the site, to the client.

• Monitoring the daily work activities of Sub Contractor and updating Sub Contractor Progress Reports.

• Supervise all mechanical/piping construction activities to ensure all the works are carried out as per project specification and schedule.

• In charge of NR13 Testing Pressure vessel (brazil std).

• Attending VSCC meeting.

• Providing redesign solutions for the field Problems or changes (clashing mismatching lack of material item)

• Responsibility for monitoring piping construction and fabrication activities insuring quality and taking necessary actions to maintain satisfactory standards

• Witnessing & recording all field tests including hydro test (HT) with QC.

• Raising MTO(s) for all materials required to additional materials for hydro test etc.

• Responsible for counter checking by Isometric/Piping plan for the spools erected in the correct location, orientation, alignment and plumpness.

• Carrying out final P&ID check of installed piping systems in the module.

• Reviewing all site work and prepare the punch list for the construction contractor

• Ensure that all punch list items are resolved

• Installation of piping systems and tanks by using Plan, Isometric drawings and P&ID’s.

• Checking of ISO drawings, release for Pre-fabrication of A/G spools (C.S./SS,LTCS) based on the priority and material availability.

• Involved in loops preparation, Mechanical clearance, Pneumatic testing and final

box up of Equipment’s & Piping system.

• Closely follow the Test-Packs & Preparing punch list of piping systems and ensuring clearing those points in consultation with client engineers.

• Familiar working with personnel from diverse nationalities and quality management systems of ISO 9001 certified organizations.

INSULATION:

• In charge in doing Take off and inspecting area referring drawings.

• Identifying new lines for starting insulation work.

• In charge of updating the progress report of the site, to the client.

• Co- ordinating with client to finish job with target date.

• Co-ordinating with supervisor to finish job in series with the test pack.

• Inspecting work with reference to method statement before submitting to QC Dept.
