Individual master’s project related to the study of the occurrence and composition of the dust episodes in Tucson, AZ. Also meeting with the research group to share opinions and ideas to help with the projects and improve mine.

• Simon Bolivar University, Caracas, Venezuela (January – March 2008)

Worked in a project design class as a member of the distillation towers and cost department, of a cracking plant to produce a combustible to meets specifications.

Research Assistant, and also Teaching Assistant for heat transfer and chemical engineer operation laboratory.

Internship: finding ways to improve a water treatment plant, by including new kinds of coagulants and flocculants to get a better removal of contaminants.

SKILLS

• Languages: Spanish – Native language

• Experience in working with aerosols and instruments like the Organic Carbon/Elemental Carbon (OC/EC) and the Total Organic Carbon (TOC).

• Knowledge of coagulation-flocculation technology on water treatment and wastewater treatment design.

• Knowledge in atmospheric science

• Capacity to work as a team and work under pressure.

• Experience in data analysis.
