-Contracts and Negotiations Executive (1996 - 2002)

IBM CREDIT CORPORATION, ARMONK, NEW YORK

(A wholly owned subsidiary of IBM Corporation)

*Developed contract terms and conditions in support of new financial offerings designed to drive profit and portfolio value consistent with IBM business practices

*Provided ongoing support of the field marketing and operations personnel by providing negotiation support of terms and conditions for lease and purchase transactions.

*Wrote, after months of research, negotiations and education of all involved, the first Federal Government lease contract for IBM upon GSA's decision to migrate from purchase to lease of IT products.

*Developed the fee plan for compensation to encourage IBM Business partners to market IBM Credit financing to their customers.

-Business Practices Consultant (1989 - 1996) IBM SALES AND DISTRIBUTION HEADQUARTERS, White Plains, New York

*Provided support to product development organizations in developing IT hardware and software product offerings consistent with IBM legal and business practices, profit and revenue objectives and product line strategies

* Provided business practices and product announcement support for IBM mid-range hardware products and Computer Assisted Design and Manufacturing "CADAM" and "CATIA" software products.

* Developed and negotiated contract terms and conditions for $50M> of IBM education programs marketed to customers throughout the U.S.

*Created a seminar package on import/export regulations related to IBM products and conducted nation wide employee awareness/education sessions for the IBM Application Solutions Division.

*Created and implemented a process for providing a thorough and consistent presentation of new business development proposals for review by high level IBM executives for investment decisions. Included due diligence processes, financial analysis, and cost/benefit determinations.

-Area Administration Plans & Controls/Site Manager (1987 - 1989) IBM Sales and Distribution, Area Headquarters, San Francisco, California

*Management responsibility for all aspects of administration support and facilities for IBM marketing organizations in seven western states as well as the SF headquarters facility housing 1500 + employees representing many different IBM organizations.

*Developed and implemented a cost reduction program with an annual savings of $800K through implementation of an alternative employee commuter program.

*Reduced annual facility expense by approximately $4 million dollars through consolidation and relocation of various organizations in the geography.

-Manager of Administration Support (1985 - 1987)

IBM National Distribution Division, Montvale, New Jersey

*Member of the start-up management team of this marketing channels division formed via the consolidation of five independent operating units into one integrated business unit with 3,000 employees. Developed and implemented improved administration for all aspects of support of marketing and distribution for intermediate systems, PCs and related products, components, peripherals and technology.

*Results included major reduction in administrative workforce by 70%, improved efficiency and productivity, and slashed nation wide annual facilities operating costs by 20%.

*Resolved long-standing quality issues in education, billing and accounts receivable and facilities management. Reduced nationwide facilities and administration expense from 6% to 4% of total revenues.

-IBM Real Estate and Construction Division, Tarrytown, New York

Manager of Business Systems Planning and Implementation (1983 - 1985)

*Management responsibility for all aspects of IS application development including direct project management and implementation for the division nationwide. Effort included 24 applications covering the entire scope of the business.

*Met or reduced all time and expense objectives over the entire length of the effort.

*Developed new application development guidelines, which were adopted by the division and passed a comprehensive corporate operations audit.

-Manager of Financial Controls and Contracts (1981 - 1983)

*Management responsibility for all aspects of construction contracting activity including qualification and negotiation with architects, contractors and consultants as well as financial management of major IBM construction projects nationwide.

*Financial responsibility for $1 billion plus of construction activity nationwide.

*Received President's excellence award for completion of the IBM 590 Madison Avenue facility on time and within budget, allowing IBM to acquire a multi-million-tax abatement credit.

-IBM Data Processing Division Regional Headquarters, Southfield, Michigan (1977 - 1981)

*Responsibility for all regional revenue and expense assignment and attainment, backlog management, all measurements of attainment, audit compliance, employee education and development programs, and administration recognition programs.
