Worked in the Human Resources Department of this major Houston credit union with 200 employees and locations. Initially hired as a temporary / contract employee to update employee records to ensure compliance with federal employment regulations. Joined the HR staff on a full time basis and advanced through several positions including; HR Clerk, HR Assistant, HR Generalist, Payroll/Benefits, and Training Specialist.
• Developed and managed a sales and service training program to front-line new hires. Developed customer sales scenarios to help Tellers identify clients who might have need for more services than they were currently using. Trained Tellers to suggest additional services and monitor customer contact through an internal CRM system. Result: Achieved increased productivity throughout the branches and improved the level of service to our members.
• Served as a team member of the IT Department in implementing new software for the entire front line operations of the credit union. Operated both hardware and software of the new implementation. Result: Gathered new information on how operations worked for frontline staff, and became the go-to-guy and first level support after the system implementation.
