Concurrent Engineering and co-location principles were adapted and implemented. Graphical systems were updated to encompass Catia as the drafting standard and a new Product Data Manager (PM) were integrated into an electronic Configuration Management system. The Product design system flows electronically to Manufacturing and Quality Divisions creating a totally electronic hands-off release from design to final part production.
