November 2007 to February 2010: Printpack, Corporate Graphics Coordinator process

coordination of flexographic and gravure projects for global Printpack flexible packaging

manufacturing plants. Planning workflows, color corrections and separations, coordination of

outside vendors, in-house corporate graphics department and working with in-plant graphics to

prepare packaging projects for the creation of separated final files.

2007 and beforehand: Freelance Writing and Graphic Design, Production (onsite and offsite)

Website design, content creation and coordination. An emphasis on retaining fine typography

and wordcraft within digital formats.

Onsite graphic art design, production and project coordination from concept, initial comps,

design, copy writing to planning and executing digital production; {photoshoot direction, color

corrections, image enhancements, page layout, file troubleshooting, trapping, imposition and final

output} through to press checks and data storage and retrieval. Also, retail on-demand printing

experience.

Projects included POP/POS pieces, catalogs ranging from 16–1200-pages, flyers, packaging,

exhibit displays, conceptual corporate identity packages, sales presentations, textbooks, sales

proposals, periodical ads, newsletters and financial reports.

Versed in pre-press and printing. Traditional media art oils, pastels. Design inclinations more

symbolic than abstract. Previous buying experience with decorative textile/furniture.
