Project Superintendent

• Compass Bank, Aurora, CO (07/08 –11/08) $3,000,000

 Managed all phases of construction from site clearing through substantial completion. Responsibilities included supervising general labor and carpenters, developing and maintaining project schedule, permitting and inspection process. Coordinated all subcontractors and organized crews to self perform several phases of work including concrete foundations, wood truss roof structure and interior/exterior doors and hardware.

 10 story, 196,000 sf, multi-use Building located in Denver, Co LoDo district. The post tension structure consists of three levels of below grade parking with 8000 sf of retail at street level, 50,000 sf of office space and 37 luxury apartments above. The project was designed for sustainability and low impact to the environment utilizing many eco-friendly products.

o Responsible for managing all construction activities from excavation and shoring through interior finishes.

o Conducted subcontractor coordination meetings and updated weekly progress schedules.

• St. Andrews at Heather Gardens (2/05 – 9/06) $42,000,000

 Progressive care retirement complex in Aurora, CO consisting of three separate buildings totaling 340,000 sf, constructed in two phases concurrently.

o Responsible for overseeing construction of the 6-story (226,000 sf) post tension Independent Living Facility with 147 apartments and attached parking structure.

Concrete Superintendent

• Tower on the Park (9/03 –11/04) $27,000,000

 13-story condominium building in downtown Denver, CO consisting of two levels of cast-in-place underground parking garage, and twelve stories of post tension concrete decks.

o Responsible for managing all phases of concrete construction, including coordination and scheduling of concrete pours, deliveries, and inspections.

Area Superintendent - Safety/Mitigation Coordinator

• University of Colorado Folsom Field (1/03 – 9/03) $41,000,000

 Expansion of concessions/common areas as well as the addition of 42 luxury boxes and club level seating areas.

o Oversaw the construction of club level and concourse concession areas.

o Responsible for facilitating project safety program as well as CCIP policies.

Field Superintendent

• Marriott Renaissance Hotel (5/02 – 12/02) $30,000,000

 10-story building in Broomfield, CO consisting of 248 suites, several conference rooms, restaurant and bar.

o Responsible for managing construction of lower level floors as well as surrounding site development.

Estimator (11/01 – 4/02)

• Responsible for estimating and presenting to owners on several Denver based commercial building projects.

• ESPN Zone (6/01 – 10/01) $6,000,000

 Tenant Build out project consisting of 26,000 square foot retail restaurant/sports bar facility.

o Responsible for overseeing MEP work, coordinating subcontractors, supervising Turner field crews, and scheduling updates.

• 16 Market Square (2/99 – 5/01) $40,000,000

 Multi-use office building in downtown Denver. Eight-stories with high-end residential lofts and a three level underground parking garage.

o Preconstruction and development of project logistics plan

o Supervised relocation of existing site utilities

o Responsible for scheduling and coordination of subcontractors

o Quality control and quality assurance

o Oversaw mass excavation, shoring and installation of subsurface drainage system

o Assisted in supervision and coordination of caisson drilling, cast-in-place concrete construction, structural steel, and architectural masonry work

o Managed crew of six Turner field employees and served as project safety coordinator

Prior to attending college, I worked as a Foreman/Operator for two civil engineering contractors. Projects included slide repair, underground utilities, demolition, excavation, erosion control, channel widening, flood control, highway slab replacement, barrier rail and sound wall construction.
