Consulting Geologist - December 2008 to Present

Specializing in the exploration and assessment of aggregate and industrial mineral reserves. Provides a range of services, including: sample logging, mapping, modeling, reserves estimation, GIS and project management.

Land Manager & Geologist – Southwest Region, Mineral Resources Division (2004 to 2007)

Responsible for managing owned and leased lands, identifying and disposing of excess properties and investigating and acquiring additional aggregate reserves for the Region. Worked closely with Plant, Area, Regional, Mine Planning and Environmental managers to identify and resolve various site, area and regional issues. Represented Region on projects involving state and local governing agencies. Geographic responsibility included over 60 pits, quarries and facilities across California, Arizona, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas and Louisiana.
