May 12 PLC Specialist: Programmed PLC’s for Oil, Gas, and water plant. Performed plant startups and troubleshoot any problems. Mostly Allen Bradley, did a little of Siemens PLC’s and HMI’s. Occasionally I would help PE Engineers with electrical schematics for customers and panel shop.

Jan. 07- Mercer Controls, INC, Edna, TX

Dec. 07 Electrical Engineer: With AutoCAD 2007 I designed controls for water plants and waste water treatment plants. I also did repair and troubleshooting to fix existing equipment (i.e. PLC’s and computers running Wonderware) and getting our controls to work as specified. Using Spread Spectrum Radios we got communication from remote locations so our control boxes would control them from a centralized location.

Oct. 05- AMERICAN LAFRANCE LLC / Becker Fire, Casper, WY

Aug. 06 Electrical Engineer: Using tools like AutoCad 2000 and ES-Key, I designed fire apparatuses, programmed CPU’s of Multiplex systems using Class 1 ES-Key, and prepared electrical schematics for the customer. I also troubleshoot Multiplex systems on the trucks.

Sept. 02- UW Electronic Shop, Laramie, WY

May 03 Technician: worked with an Electrical Engineer to troubleshoot and/or fix and repair broken lab equipment. Skills Learned: thinking out of the box, and using soldering equipment. Part-time, 10hrs a week while going to school full-time.

May 02- UW Information Technology, Laramie, WY

Aug 02 Computer Lab Assistant: worked with students, faculty and staff in troubleshooting hardware and software computer problems; maintain labs, make sure the labs are clean and everything is in proper order for students to use; answer questions with computer related issues. Part-time, 12hrs a week while going to school full-time.
