PROJECT MAJOR:-

 TITLE- Manufacturing of Gasoline from Methanol by MTG process

TEAM – 3 Members Position: Team Leader

DESCRIPTION: Worked on the effect of quantity of feed, catalyst, and various parameters such as effect of pressure, temperature and volatility etc. In-detailed process design and mechanical design of equipment’s used. Study of techno-economic Feasibility of the process. Also studied the economics of process and plant layout.

 TITLE- Conversion of Waste Plastic into Fuel Range Hydrocarbons

TEAM- 5 Members Position: Process In charge

DESCRIPTION: Studied different commercial catalysts suitable for conversion of waste polymers to liquid fuel. Also, worked on the effect of quantity of feed, catalyst, and various parameters such as effect of pressure, temperature and volatility etc. Studied the various parameters of reaction for conversion of polymer into liquid fuel at optimum level.

PROJECT MINOR:-

 TITLE: - Design of Bubble Cap Distillation Column for Separation of Methanol Water Mixture.

TEAM- 3 Members Position: - Team Leader

DESCRIPTION: This is an alternate design of Bubble Cap Distillation Column, features and advantages of our design are:

 Detailed theoretical study of principle and construction of distillation column.

 Design includes all the components of a Distillation unit including Condenser, Pumps and pipes, Kettle Re-boiler.

 Both mechanical and process design is included.

 All aspects of design are included.
