INDUSTRIAL ENGINEER CVS Distribution Center, Somerset, PA Aug. 2006 – Oct 2009

· Labor Management System (LMS) corporate initiative –

o Performed detailed time standards at 4 distribution centers for an incentive based pay labor management system.

o Executed data analysis of time studies for implementation to the CVS warehouse management system.

o Instructed over 150 associates, managers, and supervisors on development and implementation of the labor standards.

o Led training of supervisors and managers on time study technique and use of Labrauss UMT time study software and hand held computer devices.

· CVS Warehouse Management System (CVS WMS)

o Member of implementation team and GAP analysis team. Investigated differences from old WMS system to new WMS and resolved findings and implemented changes.

o Worked with DC Project Manager on maintaining project time line, updating team members on critical due dates and responsibilities, and corresponding all activity to Corporate Project Manager on a weekly basis.

INDUSTRIAL ENGINEER Fleetwood Folding Trailers, Somerset, PA Dec. 2000 – Apr. 2005

· Contributed to the acquisition of a 43,000 square foot facility to manufacture laminated trailer tops.

· Investigated new lamination process by visiting various plants, running actual proto-type tops, and ordering and installation of final equipment. Completed Project from proto-type to production parts in 5 month time frame down from an original requirement of 12 months due to vendor loss.

· Implemented new lean manufacturing and assembly processes to increase productivity and improve ergonomics.

· Continually pursued precise time standards and methods to build standard data tables to use for estimating time standards for parts in the development stage more accurately and line balancing for changing model mix.

· Tracked cost of manufactured parts through Engineering Change Orders based on materials used, time standards, and methods.

· Entered corrections in MAPICS to routings, item masters, and bill of materials to reflect changes from continuous improvement efforts.
