As owner and designer of my own company, I have not only been responsible for design and execution, but also for all administrative duties. I have built a solid base of clients in several areas of design- web, interiors, construction, and graphics. The unifying element in all these areas is that I have assisted all my clients in beautifying their spaces, both real and digital.

Prop Designer, Graphic Designer

As the prop designer, I first read the script and interpret the needed props. I am then responsible for acquiring/ creating all pieces. As graphic designer, I create all company logos and publicity as well as original posters and handouts for all shows.

2008 Knight Carr & Co Greensboro, NC

Design Intern

During my internship at Knight Carr, I was given a myriad of tasks throughout the firm to increase my knowledge base and experience. My primary duty was to maintain and organize the firms extensive design library, including fabrics and trims, flooring, moldings, and hardware. I also had the responsibility of translating the designers on site notes into AutoCAD drawings and assisting in design installations on site.

2009 U of M Residential Theatre Ann Arbor, MI

Lighting Designer

My first duty as lighting designer at the Residential Theatre was to dissect the script and determine lighting cues and effects. I then placed and focused roughly 100 instruments throughout the theatre.
