Project Manager, Southern Florida

Led the full lifecycle of construction projects from initiation to completion.

Major Projects:

Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, Fort Lauderdale, Florida

$35.1M, 80K Sq.Ft. Terminal 4 expansion and renovation.

• Managed an expansion that included federal inspection services area, passenger queuing, customs and border protection, Transportation Security Administration, airline ticket offices, carrier spaces and Broward County Aviation Department offices.

• Incorporated an explosives detection system (EDS), new baggage handling system and additional area support services.

Miami – Dade County Public Schools, Miami, Florida

$81M, 2-phased project Miami Central Senior High School additions, remodeling & renovations.

• Partnered in construction of a 19K Sq.Ft. locker room/multi-purpose building, a 32.K Sq.Ft. food services building, including 10 classrooms, a new chiller plant, new physical education playfields, hard courts and site work, parking, covered walkways and major remodeling to the existing facility. (Phase I)

• Collaborated in 214K Sq.Ft. of new construction, major remodeling and renovations of the remaining existing facility. (Phase II)

Baptist Health South Florida, Homestead Hospital, Homestead, Florida

$82.4M, 392K Sq.Ft., 120 bed, five-story new replacement hospital.

• Participated in the new CEP, including a pair of 300 hp boilers, three 800 ton chillers and a pair of 1500 kW emergency generators. The building was designed and built to withstand a category five hurricane.

• Directed $75K cafeteria renovation consisting of painting, wall covering and mural execution to completely renovated operable cafeteria.

• Directed the $2.5M interior renovations of an early 1800’s historic building for new cardiology laboratory and medical record space.

West Haven Community House, West Haven, Connecticut

• Led a $1.5M code update to existing late 1800’s structure and a 12K Sq.Ft. addition for new early childhood classrooms and office space.

Gateway Center, New Haven, Connecticut

• Drove a $2M building and fire code updates to a 7-story structure, including interior and exterior renovations and elevator upgrades.

• Spearheaded a $2.5M 4-floor tenant fit-out for local Board of Education.

• Project managed a $3M erection of a coolant tower, associated plumbing, mechanical and electrical services for an existing 7-story office building, including grade beams, structural footings and slabs under an existing 150 car pre-cast parking structure.

West Haven Funeral Home, West Haven, Connecticut

• Made $1.5M, 5K Sq.Ft. renovations to a fully operational funeral home with no loss of services.

Notre Dame High School, West Haven, Connecticut

• Led a $1M project of interior renovations.

Bouffard Metal Goods Addition, Watertown, Connecticut

• Directed a $1.5M, 24K Sq.Ft. addition to an existing manufacturing facility.

• Executed extensive blasting of site for addition, parking and loading dock areas that included masonry structure, structural steel skeleton, new EPDM roofing and new mechanical and electrical systems.

Naugatuck Police Station, Naugatuck, Connecticut

• Developed a $4M, 24K Sq.Ft. new police building.

• Directed complete site development, including a sally port, 9 jail cells, holding cells, an exterior carport structure for 27 patrol cars, locker room and exercise rooms for 56 male and female patrolmen and a 3K Sq.Ft. dispatch center with emergency generator capabilities, providing continual operation of services.
