Spansion LLC – Sunnyvale, CA -- Semiconductor Associate Design Engineer, MCP/Lead Frame Products 1998 to 2009

Summary: Design and develop proto-type and new package specification and testing. Customize design and specification to meet specific customer requirements. Prepared clear, complete and accurate working feasibility studies for the approval of Engineers and Product Group. Responsible for creating detailed drawings from rough or detailed sketches or notes. Interacted closely with vendors as well as the Engineering Department in design reviews and ensured compliance and implementation of changes to existing drawings and new drawing creation/files. Ensured that engineering drawings and design modifications are properly

documented and recorded for filing and retrieval purposes. Performed other duties including cross-sectioning of parts using a microscope and various sanding equipments, x-ray, sonic scan to detect voids/delaminating of parts, burn-in and final test ensure reliability compliance.
