2006-2010 Part time announcer, Big River Broadcasting

Part time weekend announcer hosting a Saturday afternoon air show and a Sunday evening “Country Classics” show on Kix 96. I also filled in during the week when full time air staff were on vacation or out sick.

2005-2006 Mid-day Announcer, Star 94.9FM

Hosting a mid-day air show that included an all request lunch hour show taking requests from listeners and playing them on the air. I also hosted Working Women’s Wednesday remotes every Wednesday night at Score’s Sports Grill in Sheffield. These duties included getting the crowd energized and giving out prizes to winners. In addition to my on air duties, I also was responsible for producing commercials and entering them into the computer for on air playback.

2004-2004 Mid-day Announcer, WLAY 103.5FM

Hosting a mid-day air show, production responsibilities that involved producing commercials and entering them into the computer, hosting various remotes, and other miscellaneous office duties as needed. In addition, WLAY hosted a three day radio-thon for Children’s Miracle Network. My mid day air shift raised the most money on Friday, and out of the three day total, I came in second. (The morning show crew raised the most, but they broadcasted all three days).
