1996 to 2007 Engineering Technician
Bonneville Power Administration, Vancouver, Wa.
Manual and Microstation v8, drafting and using Projectwise, Geopak,
Inroads, IrasB and AUTOCAD in the civil/structural engineering section.
Drafting included electrical substation site development, drainage, fencing,
access roads, architectural, mechanical and electrical. Other duties included
civil material requests and BPA catalog updates.
1983 to 1996 Engineering Technician
Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife, Portland, Or.
Manual and Microstation v8 drafting in the engineering section. Drafting
included all aspects of fish hatcheries and related facilities, buildings,
fishways, fish ladders and piping of water intake/outlet systems, distribution,
treatment and incubation. I co-designed the states latest fish liberation
equipment including chassis and trailer mounted tanks and the air transport
unit used for remote lake stocking.
1976 to 1983 Draftsman
Cranston Machinery, Inc., Oak Grove, Or.
Manual drafting of pulp and paper finish room handling equipment and electro-
mechanical and solid state control panels. Machines included pulp bale and
roll paper conveyors, wrappers and wire tying machines. I assembled and
wired push button stations and electro-mechanical/solid state control systems.
1970 to 1974
United States Navy Radioman
Morse code, teletype, radio receiver, radio transmitter, and cryptographic
operator.
