Special Advisor August 2010 to July 2011

• Continued holding the same position and responsibilities to perform advisory duties and services I provided in my previous job at LMAT office in Camp Taji. Only my position title was changed from BBA-SME to Special Advisor.

• Conduct detailed inventory for buildings and facilities in the coalition side of Taji Military Base and generate maps and spreadsheets to document necessary data for transferring the buildings and facilities to Taji Location Command. During this three month period mission, more than 800 buildings and facilities in addition to hundreds of equipment were transferred to IA.

• Prepare scope of works and contract documents for schools and other facilities that were built or renovated in Sadir City and Adhamiya City.

• Attend meetings and conferences held with districts in Sadir City and Adhamiya City between EPRT team members, DAC and NAC members, district school Engineers and Sheikhs in the city.

• Prepare preliminary design, CAD drawings, power point presentations and scope of works for the following projects: DTC/RTC facilities- $15M project, IASSI MTF (Maintenance Training Facility) - $5M project, Taji Base Theater, 34th AB Latrines

• Gather documentations and studies regarding all aspects of future expansion and developments in the base (facility requirements and infrastructure needs like Water Supply, Power generation, Sewer System and Roads) and prepare Master Plan for Taji Military Base.

• Oversee and observe the projects built for Iraqi Army to ensure compliance with specifications and details described in the contract documents.

• Advise Iraqi Army Engineers during group meetings and site visits. Teach Engineers new technologies and methods of construction implementation, project management, operation and maintenance of facilities and equipments.
