MMD –FMS –B WHEELS TRAINING SET MAINTENANCE , REPAIRED AND SERVICES (LIGHT SERVICE) CAMP BUEHRING.

21st may 07 to present

Senior mechanic Cum Asst. floor LEAD and Technical Inspector.

My work including inspecting HUMVEES for semi, annual services and all kind of repairs. Allotting the same to the assigned mechanic associates after preparing the TI-SHEETS. The models include M998 A1, M998 A2, M1025 A1, M1026 WW, M1026 A1 WW, M1035 A1, M1035 A2, M1038 WW, M1097 A1, M1109, M1121, M1114 and M1151 and also 2/1/2 TON. The work including order and arranging parts to carry out the repair work. To see the progress of work on daily basis till the work is complete by the mechanic. To carry out the final inspection and taking a road test and preparing the final papers for allotting the same vehicle to the TECH INSPECTOR. After the vehicle is

ready it is then sent to the lot for turning and issue.

Working under the direct supervision of lead mechanic, duties include working on heavy equipment of U.S, Army, which deploys in Kuwait on CSSCK Contract.

Nature of duties included is to examine various wheeled vehicles for excessive wear or damage.

Performed minor and major engine tune-ups to conduct regular PMCS of the serviceable vehicles to inspect test and troubleshoot equipment before and after diagnose and confirm repairs, test and repair the electrical systems, replacing wheels and balancing, replacing seals, bearing suspension components etc, repair brake system, manual and power steering systems. Dismantled and assembled the vehicle components by using hand and power tools.
