I am Anthony Lila and I am experienced in all areas of welding. I have 5 years in the welding field and all of my past positions are stated below. I hope to give my knowledge and experience as an experienced welder with good communication skills and an honest hard working person and to gain more experience and knowledge with in a reputable welding company.

Technical Skills .

• I have skills in (GMAW) MIG and electric arc welding in all positions

• Very good with a plasma cutter, grinding, beveling edges

• Can pipe weld with either MIG or TIG

• No fear of heights

Professional Experience

• LLC. FIREPROOF DOORS FEB 2009– Dec 2009

Duties: Welded trucks, fabricated parts, used plasma cutter, cut, drill, and notch. Ran forklifts. Ran form roller, layout panels for cutting and notching, measure for tight tolerance, Also did a lot of custom fabricating such as Safe vaults, Custom garage doors, doors and frames, custom staircase, and gates with (GTAW) TIG.

• Kawasaki Rail Car AUG 2007 – JAN 2009

Weld metal parts or components together, using Mig or arc welding equipment.

Repair broken or cracked parts, fill holes and increase size of metal parts, using welding equipment. Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical, or overhead position. Clean or degrease parts, using wire brush, portable grinder, or chemical bath. Inspect finished work piece for conformance to specifications. Chip or grind off excess weld, slag, or spatter, using hand scraper or power chipper, portable grinder, or arc-cutting equipment. Position work pieces and clamps together or assemble in jigs or fixtures. Preheat work piece, using hand torch or heating furnace. Ignite torch or start power supply and strike arc. Review layouts, blueprints, diagrams, or work orders in preparation for welding or cutting metal components.

Attended APEX Technical school I have managed to obtain the certification and license for fitness examination G-95 or G-33 use of 02 with flammable gases, G-38 torch use of flammable gases for cutting and welding, G-39 torch use of flammable gases for jewelry trade and I also have certification and license for F-93, F-29 Fire guard at field construction sites, F-30 Fire guard for torch operations. Also I am A.W.S certified im all (GMW) welding and in all welding positions, certified in (GMAW) open-groove bend test in all three positions vertical, horizontal, and over head.
