account manager, for four locally owned and controlled cooperative retail businesses that made up forty-three percent of
seed brand business in the area. Collectively grew the business twelve percent with key accounts to 2012 and negotiated
nine-hundred thousand dollars of special agreement and investment contracts with key accounts.
• Served as a developmental lead for peer field sales team to transfer training tools for identified needs to enhance sales

• Recruited and hired two managers, for prolonged vacancies within four months of being hired with the organization.
• Recruited and hired five of the eight member selling team in south Ohio, two of which are new positions. Grew net
revenue of area just over ten million in first two years as manager.

hundred thousand units of corn and a million units of soybeans.

Led a team of twelve managers and administrative assistant to direct business strategy
implementation, product forecasting, area finances, and team development. In addition, influenced
(indirect reports) two agronomists, sales support specialist, and customer operations specialist to
support field team and dealers. Ensured focus on penetration and retention of grower customers by
leading business planning and implementation. Communicated at top levels with retail business
partners to implement joint strategy and tactics, to secure growth and a strong distribution strategy.
Set expectations for development and activities for knowledge transfer from agronomists to
managers specific to products and agronomy. Implemented national/regional/local marketing tactics
at a team level.

Led a team of six managers and two product specialists. Including direction for sales and

Led team of sixteen sales agencies. This includes coaching sales representatives on performance,
sales effectiveness, growth expectations and resource utilization. Implemented opportunities for
development in sales and agronomy. Led business growth planning, prospect assignment and
performance evaluation for agency sales team. Directed team through product life cycle
management and development of annual product estimate for sales. Provided direct sales contact
with primary accounts and agronomy service support for team, customers and prospects.
2006 – 2007 County Extension Educator, Horticulture, Agriculture and Natural Resources,

Designed and conducted educational and research programs tailored to Montgomery County clients.
The county is unique in the fact that the east side is urbanized and the west side is traditional
production agriculture. Utilizing a needs assessment, educational priorities were focused upon for
green industry professional, home horticulture and production agriculture clients. Additionally, I
provided leadership for the Master Gardener Volunteer program that included one hundred and
thirty- two volunteers and one full time coordinator employee.

Provided leadership for extension unit, including fiscal management and direction of information technology
initiatives. Conducted employee annual performance for seasonal, staff, administrative/professional
and tenured faculty in Extension unit, including regular mentoring and coaching for effective

relationships with agencies, groups and organizations including county commissioners and state
