1) Project research in determine the provenance of clastic sequence of Maracaibo and Falcón basins in northwestern Venezuela through U-Pb zircon ages by LA-ICP-MS method; 2) Project research in establish and update the proper age of Precambrian and Paleozoic basement from Venezuela through the measured U-Pb zircon by SHRIMP technique; 3) Project research in the Caribbean geodynamic and geochronology from Caribbean Islands like Lesser Antilles, Isla de Margarita, Los Roques, Aves, Blanquilla, Tortuga and Los Testigos.
