Responsible for all transport (SONET optical level to T1 level). Developing and implementing an optimized network (DS3 hubs, OCn rings). Creating a least cost hubbing network to support our cell sites and reduce mileage cost from the Verizon long haul T1 costs. Capacity management; rings, DS3’s and DACS (Tellabs) ports assignments. Review all Master Service Agreements (MSA) and Inter-Connect Agreements (ICA).
