C. WORKING EXPERIENCE

Self-employed: offering IT and Project management Consultancy services to individuals and small businesses mainly application software development,implementation and training.
April 2006 – April 2008: Business Process Analyst/Ellipse IT Coordinator- Newmont Ghana Gold Ltd, Ahafo Mine Project; Responsible for ensuring Newmont Business processes were adhered to, by monitoring compliance and generating exception reports;Reviewing all business processes and recommending to/advising management on improvements on an on-going basis.
Assisting IT Manager in preparation and administration of CAPEX and OPEX budgets for the Department. Revising on a monthly basis, the variance reports. Run budget so efficiently that variances were within 5% variance 99% of the time; Handling of all administrative and project management processes for the department –Department Document Control Management which included creation of Project folders and files, amendment and/or maintenance of same under very strict guidelines ensuring only valid and legal access was available to users, travel booking and reservations (flight and accommodation), health, safety and environmental inspections and seminars, management and project meeting organization; Raising Purchase Requisitions (PRs), inventory control, writing of all minutes of meetings, etc. Received praise/commendation most of the time for excellent work done, albeit verbally; As the Ellipse Coordinator, liaised with all users – old & new to assign user-ids, passwords and access (permissions); thus responsible for Ellipse governance, risk and compliance issues. Excellently executed having taken over from an outgoing expatriate; Also ensured SOx expectations were met by monitoring on daily and monthly basis, all critical batch reports and activities as far as IT was concerned.
