Automated Accounts Payable to eliminate late payments by 99%. Created an Access database in which the front desk personnel input invoice information for prompting payment due dates. As a result of new procedures and this automation, late payments at 3 clinic sites were eliminated.
Developed a systematic approach to formulate budget projections and present estimates. The new process included creating an Access application and written procedures for all clinical departments resulted in shorting budget development by 30 days.
Developed Excel spreadsheets to reconcile account receivable, payable, and the general ledgers. Examined, verified, and approved fiscal documents such as vouchers, warrants, requisitions, and invoices that reduced work time for CFO. The spreadsheets included macros for automatic updates.
Controlled and monitored a $200 million school budget. The district consisted of 12 elementary and secondary schools with approximately 11K students.
Automated the Annual Uniform Statistical Report (USD) in Microsoft Excel and Access for the Pharmacy, Triage, Medical Staff, and Billing Department.
Created procedures for uploading medical records into a patient information system. These procedures reduced workload and increased efficiency by 50% within 3 healthcare clinic centers.
Trained staff on healthcare software programs that increased productivity and reduced project work time. This also produced a reduction in overhead cost.
