DUTIES

Determine and maintain proper product stocking levels to meet anticipated customer demands. Create all foreign and domestic product purchase orders and submit them to suppliers in an accurate and timely basis. Approve supplier invoices for payment, verifying pricing and quantity received. Coordinate inventory transfers between multiple warehouse locations. Maintain an up to date list of lead times, price break quantities, and freight policies for all vendors. Set up all new product codes as needed. Shop all inbound freight for lowest quoted carrier. Manage and report monthly freight rebates from participating vendors.
