I. PROFILE:
Skilled in mechanism of hot corrosion and thermal spray coatings on superalloys, at high temperature, with detonation-gun coating methodology. Good background of inter-disciplinary research work. With focus to design and develop Detonation-gun thermal spray coating and nanostructure coating by DC-magnetron sputtering. Strong background in metrological techniques of field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM), optical spectroscopy, surface profilometry and XRD techniques. Formally trained and experienced in a broad range of scientific tools ranging from atomic force microscopy to chromatography to support interdisciplinary research initiatives. Also I have thoroughly learned several experimental techniques like DC and RF Magnetron Sputtering, and sharpened my experimental skills during my research work. I realized the significant contribution of the experimental research towards the development of the theories in the area of thermal spray and Nanostructured coatings.
II. SKILL SUMMARY:
1. Experimental/Instruments skills: Hands on experience in using XRD, FE-SEM/EDAX, Optical Microscopy, and Microhardness tester during my research work at I.I.T-Roorkee.
2. Nanostructure coating by DC-magnetron sputtering.
3. Experience in handling AFM instrument
