PROJECT NAME (Project – 1)
8051(PHILLIPS P89V51RD2) based “SPEEDOMETER cum ODOMETER”
Environment Keil uVision for Coding and Debugging
Proteaus for Schematic drawing
Description
Includes programming & Debugging of 8051 based AT89C52 (8bit) Micro-Controller.
Used a DC-Motor running on +5 volts with approximately 1000 rpm and a Speed Sensor (Opto-Coupler MOC7811) for the project.
Speed Sensor, calculates the number of revolutions made by Motor, that gives Speed and Velocity of a Vehicle and also we can calculate Distance covered by the vehicle in particular time through Mathematical calculations.
Finally all the parameters (Speed and Distance) were than displayed on a 16x2 LCD.
Responsibilities
Designing Schematics and Hardware Development.
Preparing Project Reports.
Involved in development, testing and Giving Demonstration.
PROJECT NAME (Project – 2)
8051(PHILLIPS P89V51RD2) based “TEMPERATURE MONITORING SYSTEM”
Environment Keil uVision for Coding and Debugging
Proteaus for Schematic drawing
Description
Includes programming & Debugging of 8051 based P89V51RD2 (8bit Controller) Micro-Controller.
I had used a Precision Temperature Sensor LM35 for Sensing the Temperature in the first stage followed by the ADC 0808 which converts the Analog output of Temperature Sensor into Digital readings and this readings where than given to the PISO Shift Register for reading the data serially on the Controller Pins.
The Digital output than was displayed on the 16x2 LCD.
Total of 8 Sensors were used, and for each Sensor a Reference Temperature Zone and Time Zone was Set, and depending upon the Ref Temperature, A Plant/Device can be made ON/OFF.
1 Out of the total 8 channels was kept Active for a particular Time Zone
Responsibilities
Designing Schematics and Hardware Development.
Preparing Project Reports.
Involved in development, testing and Giving Demonstration.
PROJECT NAME (Project – 3)
PIC (16F877A) “RFID based AUTOMATIC ATTENDANCE / SECURITY SYSTEM”
Environment MpLAB IDE for Coding and Debugging
Proteaus for Schematic drawing
Description
Includes programming & Debugging of PIC based 16F877A (8bit Controller) Micro-Controller.
Project includes RFID based TAG-Receiver operating on 12Vdc serially connected with PC with an RS232 Cable.
Works on the basic principle of RADIO FREQUENCY.
RFID TAG (access card with personal login details) as input device needs to bring in the contact of RFID Rx for inputting the Login details like Name, ID No, Mobile No, etc for maintaining records in the Server-PC.
Useful in Security field, corporate offices, Banks, Educational centres, Research centres etc.
Responsibilities
Designing Schematics and Hardware Development.
Preparing Project Reports.
Involved in development, testing and Giving Demonstration.
PROJECT NAME (Project – 4)
ARM7 (PHILLIPS LPC2129) based “VEHICLE TRACKING SYSTEM”
Environment Keil uVision ARM for Coding and Debugging
Proteaus for Schematic drawing
Description:
Includes programming & Debugging of ARM based LPC 2129 (32 Bit Controller) Micro-Controller.
Technology used is GPS & GSM.
Using GPS Receiver, a fixed GPGGA string was monitored and displayed on HyperTerminal of computer via RS232 Cable.
Later this String was decoded for relevant Data like Time, Latitude, Longitude, Number of Satellites etc.
Than this Decoded data was collected in a String and using “AT” Commands this string was send to any GSM number via GSM Transmitter Module which gives the Real time Position of a Vehicle wherein a GPS Receiver is being installed.
Main aim of this project is to locate any Vehicle using GPS and getting its position on the mobile using GSM
Responsibilities
Designing Schematics and Hardware Development.
Preparing Project Reports.
Involved in development, testing and Giving Demonstration.
