Responsibilities:
Taking readings of equipments (Temperatures and Levels) and reporting to the Shift Charge Engineer if there are changes for action to be taken.
Writing defect order of equipments for maintenance to be taken on them.
Isolating equipments for maintenance to be carried out and monitoring maintenance works to ensure that maintenance personnel adhere to laid down safety regulation.
Use of MARK VI (NCS) interface for operations.
Inspection of equipments, G.I.S. and battery room
Taking hourly readings of active (Mega Watt) and reactive(MVar) powergenerated and giving it to GRIDCo upon request.
Coordinating with GRIDCo during shutdown and start up.
