Administrative Assistant/Beaumont Hospice 2009-2011
• Provide administrative support to Field Nurses, Social Workers and Chaplains.
• Telephone correspondence with Doctors in setting up admissions for patient’s to transfer to Hospice patients.
• Schedule and assign Nurses, Social Workers and Chaplains schedules for patients.
• Prepare Power Point presentations and present them to families and staff for informational meetings.
• Meet with patients and families to give information on our Hospice Program informing them of the Hospice team they will have for each patient.
• Responsible for room set-up and assist in presentation of Team meetings with staff for each patient. The doctor, nurse, social worker and chaplain meet for Care Plan of patient and I input all notes on the computer of changes that are discussed.
