To Whom It May Concern:
I am writing to recommend an exceptional student that I have had the privilege of knowing. Karen Dries was my student in Medical-Surgical II Adult Theory class at Galen from October, 2010 until January, 2011. During this time Karen sat in the front of the class and actively participated, made an appointment to review each test and consistently made among the highest scores on exams.
Karen has demonstrated leadership skills through membership and active involvement in the Galen Student Nurse Organization over which she is President. Karen does a great job listening to concerns and ideas of her fellow classmates and then presenting them to and working with Galen faculty and staff.
I believe that Karen will make an excellent RN and will make significant contributions to the nursing profession. Karen is the type of nurse that I hope will be caring for me or my loved ones someday and I am proud to say that I had a role in her education.
Sincerely,
Darla Vibbert, BSN, RN
