STAY-AT-HOME MOTHER 2004 - 2007
In 2004 Roche restructured due to an impending patent expiration of Rocephin, which caused my position to be eliminated. After this downsizing, I made the decision not to return to the workforce in order to be a stay-at-home mother. In 2007, a Roche Division Sales Manager (whom I had worked with before) contacted me and asked that I return to Roche to fill a vacant sales position within his Division.

Sold Rocephin to alternate markets including nursing homes, specialty pharmacies, and long-term care consulting pharmacy providers.
• Contributed significantly to the increase in Rocephin dollars by 23% or $537,000 for North Alabama Division in one year.
• Received Special Achievement Award for excellence in AMR responsibilities & increase in Rocephin retail dollars by 21.5% in October 2003.

Sold Rocephin, Xenical, Demadex and Tamiflu in the primary, long-term care, and hospital settings.
• Increased Rocephin market share from 72.9% to 75.1% within one year.
• Ranked 18th in the nation for sales greater than 140% of goal for Xenical in 2002.
• Convinced largest retail account in the state of Alabama (consulting specialty pharmacy provider responsible for 47 nursing homes across the state of Alabama) to include Tamiflu on preferred drug list by presenting the clinical data to the nursing home director and explaining how nursing home patients would benefit by having access to Tamiflu.

• Provided managerial, consultative, and project management oversight for the implementation of a large medical claims processing system for clients including HMOs, PPOs, IPAs, MSOs, Medicaid HMOs, self-insured groups, and TPAs. Projects included data migration as well as the transition of overall claims processing operations to an internal business-outsourcing group.
• Oversaw the implementation process for 3 to 5 clients at any given time throughout the country, with one to two consultants per project.
