Provided safety oversight for a number of different project teams/areas in work activity, approving hazards analysis, work packages, providing guidance to team management at planning, scheduling and project meetings, assessing project team performance against the work packages, facility, site, and federal safety standards. Accident/incident/near miss investigation leadership and lesson learned dissemination were part of the task; as well as inspections and assessment. Safety meeting presentations and championing the Behavior Based Safety (BBS) process were additional position requirements.

Provided technical safety program development: ensured site safety programs were met or exceeded objectives and schedules.
