WORK EXPERIENCE
The Rock of Roseville, Project Manager, PMP March 2004 – July 2009
Responsible for growing and developing internal operations for non-profit organization.
As Project Manager, represented The Rock of Roseville during their $7.5 million building project. The project was a success and received high marks from the City of Roseville. John Justus Hammel, Green, & Abrahamson’s (architect) Team Principal who specializes in educational, church, and non-profit clients stated that he has not “encountered a better, more organized, and more responsive project manager and with an excellent attitude ” in his 30-plus years in the industry.
Worked with client cross functional departments in order to determine desired outcomes, purpose, and needs for their future building. Integrated these results when working with architect to develop concept and design. Worked with architect and general contractor through development, build, and commissioning stages.
Entrusted by client to make the necessary decisions to meet their desired facility outcome. This involved decisions that would affect both schedule and budget.
During my tenure and as part of the leadership team, successfully envisioned, established, grew, and managed The Rock of Roseville to a record growth rate of 100%.
Lead and coached sixteen direct reports and their staff through reorganization of purpose/mission, vision, goals, and measurements in order to establish a roadmap for success. This provided tremendous insight and clarity for these departments unlike prior plans and methodologies.
Introduced process re-engineering concepts and tools in order to establish consistency, efficiency, and increased productivity.
John Vaccaro Enterprises, Project Management & Process Re-Engineering Consultant January 2004 – July 2004
Operated my own business which consulted, trained, and implemented project management and process re-engineering methodologies, tools, and techniques to management and employees of small to medium size businesses.
Worked cross functionally within organizations to optimize efficiencies and profits. This included, but was not limited to, both intra and inter-departmental collaboration to define process flow, process performance measures, data collection, data analysis, error-cause removal, corrective action, and monitoring.
Conceived, created, and implemented project management methodologies into organizations which either were deficient or void of project management expertise.
Provided Project Management services to organizations in need of project oversight.
