Trained for PLC trouble shooting and basic programming with Allen Bradley with basic programming with RS Logics 1000, motor controls, reading electrical prints, AC, DC, dual voltage repulsion, 3 phase and synchronous motors, motor installation and over-current protection, start-stop control and selector switches, power distribution, transformer functions, and basic blue print reading in commercial and industrial. Curriculum included 50% hands on training in field simulated labs and extensive courses to develop the necessary skills for entry-level employment in the three major electrician sectors: Residential, Commercial and Industrial.
Hands-on operation of mills, lathes, grinders, saws, and drill press including precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers. Have had some CNC training. Excellent communication skills. Able to work well with others with little or no supervision.
