During the 1990s, I furthered the cause of environmentalism with Santa Clarita Organization for Planning the Environment, a local activist organization dedicated to conservation as their secretary. Researching every topic to come before the City of Santa Clarita, I provided S.C.O.P.E with thorough information on all projects of concern, spoke powerfully on their behalf at City Council and Planning Commission meetings, and maintained accurate minutes on all S.C.O.P.E. meetings. As a result of our work, the city was forced to change several projects.
