overseeing virtual network of design professional servicing western

Consulted with ABM facilities services to establish a mentor-protege
agreement with Honu'apo, a Native Hawaiian (NHO) Non-profit Facilities
Organization; strengthened Honu'apo's community services programs by
collaborating with ABM leadership and the (DOD) Department of Defense to
promote beneficial operations contracts. Transitioned into a Senior ABM
Management position.
. Coordinated the non-profits SBA qualifying materials, established the
Board of Directors, initiated the DOD meetings and built the RFP
contracting responses.
. Devised a Branch network quality control - customer service program
initially set up for the commissioning - operations of American Savings
Banks Executive Floor - Conferencing Center.

Director of Corporate Facilities - Real Estate - Bank of Hawaii, Honolulu
1999-2003:
Hands on oversight of the portfolio - facilities management for 1,600,000
square feet spanning 212 buildings throughout Hawaii the Western and
Southern Pacific regions, including corporate offices, critical buildings,
residences, ISB and branch network locations covering 12 time zones and
employing 4,000+. Guided all daily operations involving real estate,
leasing, facilities maintenance, design and construction, facilities
contracts and accounting and budgeting.
. Crafted the winning proposal in response to Bank of Hawaii's RFP, and
assembled team of facilities management professionals within 60 days.
. Delivered $2.4M in outsourcing savings within 120 days; consequently
featured in Building Magazine (May 2002).

Facilities Management Manager - Buildings and Real Estate Department:
Managed The Gas Company's Facilities Management Operations, 1.35 million SF
of mixed-use facilities, and operating budget of $9 million. Facilities
included; Corporate Headquarters, Data Center, Call Center, Central
Manufacturing-Warehouses, NGV Assembly Plant and Energy Star - Research
Center. Directed a staff of 95 employees for the Building Maintenance,
Mail-Copy-Messenger, 5 Food Outlets-Vending, Van-Car Pool Programs and
Service Center.
. Recognized in "Buildings Magazine" for Operational changes which
reduced the O/M budget by $1.6m (1994-1998).
