Employment History
Administrative Asst. II/Accounts Payable: with Davis Custom Homes, from April, 2006 to January, 2009.
Responsibilities: Handle all customer accounts, resolve billing issues, track scheduling for home buyers, vendor purchases, and invoicing. Documented all new homeowner purchases, enter job cost, and work closely with the superintendents with ordering supplies and staying within a timely schedule thru completion of the building process. I worked closely with the City Inspector to assure that the company stayed code compliant, and followed all OSHA and city codes for building new homes.
Safety Administrative Asst. II with Johnson Controls World Services, (contracted by Brooke Army Medical Ctr.) From: March, 1998 to October, 2002.
Responsibilities: Assist Project Manager and Q/A Coordinator in preparing sensitive documentation and reports and kept material safety data sheets current. Completed documented internal safety audits to assure adherence with safety standards. Order and issue all Personal Protection Equipment and safety supplies. Organize safety meetings, take minutes, and schedule safety training in compliance with OSHA standards. Issued work orders to maintenance workers, project mechanics, and facilities office for approval and completion. Track timesheets and scheduling of maintenance work and project work.
Accounts Payable/Bookkeeper: with G.D. Anderson and Son’s Painting, from May of 1993 to March of 1998.
Responsibilities: Accounts payable and receivable. I ordered materials for the job site and set appointments for current and potential clients. I interacted with clients on the completion of projects and provided quality control on ongoing assignments. Processed files and documents to complete the project and maintenance work on new construction and existing dwellings.
